American billionaire and hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is worried about the future of the US dollar. He believes that its value may drop dramatically, possibly due to the rise of Bitcoin or the new BRICS currency.
At the same time, Bitcoin is hitting new records, reaching $71.175. This rise is pushing more and more investors into cryptocurrencies, putting even more pressure on the dollar. Many now consider Bitcoin as a more profitable alternative.
The billionaire added that he is also considering buying Bitcoin now for the above reasons. "Maybe I should buy some Bitcoin," he said, noting that he currently supports Cryptocurrencies. Billionaires are now losing faith in the US dollar as Bitcoin and the BRICS try to wipe it out.
However, the Michael saylor, the leader of MicroStrategy, suggested to Bill Ackman to invest in Bitcoin, even to a small extent. Although Ackman had expressed concerns about Bitcoin's environmental impact, Saylor argued that most Bitcoin miners actually benefit consumers by reducing energy costs. In addition, Saylor said he would be willing to have a private conversation with Ackman.
