The company presented a collection of digital photos using the 911 at Art Basel in Miami, Florida.
The first Web3 project from Porsche is a 7.500-piece NFT collection inspired by the legendary Porsche 911. The NFTs will be ready in January 2023, with each object designed by Patrick Vogel, a designer and 3D artist from Hamburg.
According to Deniz Keskin, Director of Brand Management and Partnerships at Porsche,
Exploring new areas has always been the spirit of our brand," said Keskin. “We are excited to enter Web3 with our first NFT collection. Our goal is to expand our brand into a fully digital environment.
At the same time, Porsche believes that this new virtual presentation of the brand will broaden the appeal of its sports vehicles by including sought-after digital artefacts. Keskin claims that using NFT and Web3 technologies will allow businesses to co-create with their consumers and provide a more personalized experience.
